“Fish Club: Expert Dialogue” — a new format of communication for seafood industry professionals. It’s an open discussion featuring diverse perspectives, ample opportunities for business networking, and, of course, a focus on addressing key industry challenges.
The Fish Club brings together top executives and commercial directors from:
- Fisheries and aquaculture companies
- Traders and importers
- Processing enterprises
- Retail chains and online marketplaces
Fish Club meetings are exclusively for invited participants.
The new reality is here — the market needs a different model for trade, communication, and consumer engagement. Among the topics to be discussed:
- Domestic seafood: consumption driver or artificial barrier?
- Promoting seafood: from highlighting health benefits to shaping consumer habits.
- Prices, prices, prices: Russia in the global context. Current realities and future prospects of domestic and international markets.
- The concept of a new national trade model in Russia — opportunities and risks.
The first Fish Club meeting took place in April 2025 in Moscow.
The meeting brought together top executives from key players across the seafood supply chain, including fisheries, processors, importers, traders, logistics companies, and retailers. More than 100 industry professionals gathered to openly discuss pressing issues and develop joint solutions to optimize related processes.
The event followed an “open mic” format, complemented by analytical presentations. According to attendees, this approach provides extensive opportunities for direct dialogue among all market participants committed to finding common solutions for increasing seafood sales.
The discussion was moderated by Eduard Klimov, Chairman of the Board of the media holding Fishnews.
