Media accreditation is now open for the IX Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia. It will take place on 16th-18th of September at the Expoforum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg.
After completing online registration on the official event website media representatives will be able to collect their access badges fr om any registration desk in Pavilions F and G. As in previous years, accredited media representatives will have access to dedicated workstations in the Press Centre. Information on the Press Centre’s operating procedures and opening hours, key business programme events and major on-site activities will also be available through the dedicated media channel.

The Forum and Exhibition annually bring together representatives from each segment of the fisheries sector and related industries from Russia and other countries. This year’s plenary session will be titled “Transition to a Bioeconomy in the Fishery Industry as the Key to Technological Development and Economic Transformation”. It will be held on the 18th of September.
Building on the theme of the industry’s economic transformation, the business programme will focus on practical questions: wh ere the greatest added value in fish products is created today; which export models remain resilient in the process off the restructuring of global trade; how global demand is changing; which technological solutions can ensure the long-term competitiveness of Russian companies in international markets while meeting domestic demand. Seafood Expo Russia will continue to showcase the entire fish and seafood supply chain: from harvesting and aquaculture to processing, logistics, storage, packaging and the delivery of finished products to consumers. Exhibitors will present advanced technologies for the fisheries sector and a broad range of fish and seafood products.
Russian regions will also showcase their products and capabilities. The Arkhangelsk, Astrakhan, Rostov, Kaliningrad and Murmansk Regions, the Republic of Tatarstan, Sevastopol and other regions of the Russian Federation will be represented by joint stands. Competitions and new consumer engagement formats will also be launched to promote fish products.

SHIP TECH GLOBAL will showcase a full range of equipment and technologies for the construction and service of fishing fleets and fish-processing facilities.

AQUA FARM GLOBAL will bring together aquaculture and mariculture stakeholders and present collaborative solutions to support the transition towards more intensive aquaculture production models.
The FishCorr Awards Ceremony will once again take place on the Main Stage. Held since 2019, FishCorr is a competition for media representatives specialising in coverage of the development of the fisheries sector, the restoration of aquatic biological resources and environmental issues.
Last year the Forum and Exhibition welcomed 20080 industry professionals from 84 Russian regions and 81 countries. A total of 350 exhibitors from 37 Russian regions as well as from China, India, Turkey, Venezuela, Vietnam, Belarus and other countries including EAEU member states presented their products and services. In addition to the largest companies operating in the fisheries sector and related industries, the exhibition featured a large number of small and medium-sized regional enterprises. The business programme comprised 32 events involving 175 Russian and international experts and opinion leaders.
