Those wishing to visit the Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2024 may now register. The main event of Russian fishery industry, VII Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2024 is scheduled to take place at the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre in St. Petersburg on September 17–19, 2024.
As usual, anyone wishing to attend may obtain a free entrance subsequent to the mandatory registration.
The Forum and Expo will be held in St. Petersburg for the seventh time. The industry’s networking event will showcase each step of the supply chain: from sea to store shelf. The exhibition will present an updated overview of production, processing, aquaculture, shipbuilding, logistics and other aspects of the fishery industry.
As of today, both exhibition pavilions are almost completely packed, with around 80% of the venue booked and more requests coming in. This year, the exposition structure will be updated and combine business segments, which were previously divided: fishermen and suppliers of fish products will be located next to the participants in the industry infrastructure sections. This common exposition space will better promote networking among all the exhibitors and allow visitors to see the bigger picture of the industry’s functional chains.
Ship Tech Global, a special exposition of shipbuilding, ship repair and port infrastructure will be premiering this year. The exposition is projected to further address the task of updating the fishing fleet and ensuring continuous operation of the fishery industry.
The highlights of this year’s Global Fishery Forum business agenda include innovations and their implementation practises in both Russian and foreign production, the ongoing transformation of the Russian fishery industry, deepening cooperation with friendly countries, and promotion of new international partnerships. Special attention will be drawn to such issues as the operation of aquaculture farms, measures to increase domestic fish consumption, logistical and industrial support for the sector. The International Science and Education Forum will be held accordingly within the exhibition.
For the first time this year, the Global Fishery Forum will feature a sports program with a football tournament and a morning race. The City Fish and Seafood Festival will be the closing event of the Forum and Expo. More details to be announced later.
The Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2024 is organized by the Federal Agency for Fishery and supported by the Russian Ministry of Agriculture. Expo Solutions Group acts as a permanent operator of the event.
Last year, the Forum and Expo event brought together nearly 18,000 people from 85 regions of Russia and 75 countries. New companies from Russia and other countries continue to join the event, in addition to regular exhibitors.
