Less than a month remains until the start of the main event of the Russian fishing industry - VI Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia. The event will take place on September 27-29 at the Expoforum CEC in St. Petersburg for the sixth time and will once again bring together representatives from all areas of the fishery complex and its infrastructure, paying special attention to logistics and retail.

For the fifth time in a row, the Retail Center will open its doors for suppliers of fish products and retailers - the only business platform in Russia for negotiations on direct supplies of fish and seafood to retail chains and online stores. This year it will be complemented by a “Fish Counter” - a showcase where suppliers will be able to present samples of their products. This way they will be able to not only talk about their product range, but also show off the product. This will also help retailers make purchasing decisions.

Among the suppliers of fish products, participation in the upcoming negotiations has already been confirmed by: NOREBO, Obonato, Ostrov, Nerey, Kala ya Marjapoyat, Triera M, Poleznie Producti Southern Region, Kala Ranta, etc.

Federal and regional retailers will take part in: Bayram, Magnit, Svetofor, VkusVill, Lenta, Auchan, Okay, Azbuka Vkusa, Globus, Glavnaya Leaga, Semishagoff, “Triumph”, “Samberi”, “Dobronom”, “Brighter”.

Specialized networks and online stores: Ikorny, Kleshnya, Admiral, Fish Manufactory No. 1, Budu rybu, Osetrovich, Gourmet Fresh, Samokat.

Last year, retail chains from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) took part in the Retail Center for the first time, and this year Middle Eastern enterprises and industry associations will join the project. Agreements have already been reached with representatives of Oman interested in new markets for their products.

To increase the efficiency of negotiations and optimize the time spent, an individual meeting schedule is drawn up for each Retail Center participant. To be included in the negotiation schedule, an application must be submitted in advance.

Contact information for participation: Anna Tikhaya, Retail Center coordinator, retail@rusfishexpo.com.

The partner of the Retail Center will be the ANTETY group of companies, which is reviving the Soviet brand of canned crab Chatka. Company representatives will tell Retail Center participants about the history of the legendary brand and its new incarnation. The idea will also be reflected in the visual concept and branding of the negotiations area.

The Retail Center has proven its effectiveness and annually ensures the signing of about 90 supply agreements, but this is not the only project at the event aimed at stimulating the sale and consumption of fish products. To promote it, a zone of culinary master classes at the Russian Seafood Show will be organized again. As last year, over the course of three days, the best chefs and brand chefs in Russia will introduce their colleagues and everyone to original techniques for preparing and serving fish and seafood dishes.

Russian Seafood Show is one of the most striking projects of the exhibition, but in addition to entertainment, it also opens access to the highly profitable HoReCa segment and introduces suppliers of fish products to the specifics of working with the hospitality industry.

The schedule of master classes is updated and will be available on the event website.
