September, 16-18, 2026, Saint Petersburg
From October 22 to 24, Saint Petersburg will once again host the main event for the fisheries and seafood industry — Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2025.
Now in its eighth year, the event will unite representatives from across the entire fisheries value chain and its supporting infrastructure, with a special focus on fish and seafood consumption in Russia and worldwide.
Consumption as the Starting Point
This year, the Seafood Expo Russia exhibition will once again take place in Pavilions F and G at the Expoforum Convention & Exhibition Centre. Both halls will feature product and technology zones representing every link in the fish supply chain — from fishing and aquaculture to processing, packaging, logistics, and retail.
The exhibition will bring together leading Russian industry players alongside a wide range of small and medium-sized enterprises, while also expanding its international participation.
Following a successful debut last year, Venezuela will triple the size of its national pavilion. The Indian delegation, coordinated by the MPEDA Agency under the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, will present a large group of enterprises. From China, one of the country’s largest state holdings — the Liaoyu Corporation — will showcase its capabilities alongside Famsun, Dalian Rich Enterprise Group, and other companies specializing in seafood processing, exports, and industrial equipment for logistics and food production.
Business Program: From Catch to Consumer
Complementing the exhibition, a comprehensive and practice-oriented business program will address the most pressing issues across the fisheries sector.
The central theme of the 2025 edition — “Consumption of Fish and Seafood in Russia and the World” — will be discussed from multiple perspectives: from catching, farming, and processing to marketing, packaging, and retail.
Speakers representing the production sector, government agencies, industry associations, and international organizations will share insights on how consumer trends are reshaping the market. Discussions will explore how modern technologies and artificial intelligence can help producers respond faster to changing demand and strengthen both domestic and export markets.
Dedicated sessions will also focus on specific product categories and target audiences, including younger consumersand children’s nutrition — two fast-growing segments shaping the future of fish consumption.
Special Expositions: Fish Tech Global & Aqua Farm Global
The event’s key special platforms — Fish Tech Global and Aqua Farm Global — are closely aligned with this year’s focus on consumption.
After all, modern fleets, advanced processing, reliable logistics, and attractive packaging are essential to driving consumer interest, while aquaculture remains one of the strongest drivers of both production and consumption growth.
The new Fish Tech Global exposition will showcase shipbuilding, ship repair, equipment, and coastal infrastructurefor the fisheries industry. Alongside shipyards and equipment manufacturers, suppliers of technology for marine and food processing will also take part.
A highlight of the program will be the Tech Marathon — guided demonstration tours of exhibitors’ booths, allowing visitors to see new technologies in action, meet developers, and discuss integration and service options.
The Aqua Farm Global section will bring together the full aquaculture and mariculture ecosystem — from breeding and feed production to finished products and distribution.
A functioning recirculating aquaculture system (RAS) with live fish will serve as the centerpiece, allowing exhibitors to demonstrate their technologies in operation.
uilding on strong interest in this segment — which attracted nearly 19% of visitors and 87 companies last year — the expanded format will give participants access to a professional audience of retailers and buyers eager to diversify their seafood assortment.
Both special expositions will host their business programs in the F3 conference zone of Pavilion F.
