FESCO plans to launch a new service for the delivery of refrigerated cargo from the Far East to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region - the Fish Shuttle. The transit time of transportation will decrease by an average of 5 days due to the consolidation of products in Vladivostok and the use of one refrigerated container along the entire route.
Dalreftrans LLC (part of the FESCO group) will act as the transportation operator, and REC JSC will also take part in the implementation. This will help create a centralized mechanism for the export of fish products from the Far East to the Asia-Pacific countries.
The Asia-Pacific region is traditionally the largest market for exporters of Russian fish and seafood. Already, the markets of the Asia-Pacific countries account for about 60% of the world's consumption of fish products, and this share continues to grow.
In addition to using the optimal logistics infrastructure, Fish Shuttle users will receive support and support at all stages of preparing the necessary documents, access to electronic document management systems and assistance in obtaining a transport subsidy from the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia in accordance with the law. They will also be able to apply for a subsidy from REC JSC in the amount of up to 25% of the transportation costs.
To discuss these and other issues, the project operators and the organizer of Seafood Expo Russia invite exporters of fish products to take part in the business meeting in person. The event dedicated to the issues of optimizing the supply of fish and seafood to the countries of the Asia-Pacific region and the functioning of the "Fish Shuttle" will be held on April 19, 2023 from 10:00 to 11:30 at the following address: Moscow, Crocus Expo IEC, Pavilion 1, conference room B.
