September, 16-18, 2026, Saint Petersburg
China remains one of Russia’s key partners in the fisheries sector. In 2025, Russian fish and seafood exports to China reached a record of $3.21 billion. Two-way cooperation is also expanding in aquaculture, research, the establishment of joint laboratories, knowledge and personnel exchanges and technological cooperation.
This new level of engagement is reflected in the growing presence of Chinese companies at Seafood Expo Russia. This year, the Chinese exhibition will be the largest in the event’s history, bringing together more than 50 companies that will present a wide range of products, technologies and solutions for the fisheries industry.
For the fourth consecutive year, CAPPMA (China Aquatic Products Processing and Marketing Alliance) will organise the participation of its member companies in China’s national pavilion. They will present a broad range of products made from squid, pink salmon, seaweed and pollock, as well as sturgeon caviar, vongole clams and mussels. The pavilion will also feature insulated containers, ropes made of ultra-high-molecular-weight polyethylene and other solutions for the fisheries industry.
Liaoyu Group, a regular Chinese exhibitor at Seafood Expo Russia, will once again have a dedicated stand. The corporation combines its own fleet with processing operations, port services, shipbuilding and ship repair facilities, port infrastructure and sales channels. Its long-standing presence at the exhibition reflects stable business relations and an interest in expanding and diversifying cooperation with the Russian fisheries industry.
Another regular exhibitor, FAMSUN, Asia’s largest and one of the world’s largest producers of integrated feed production solutions, will present equipment and components for aquaculture, as well as feed products and additives.
Other Chinese exhibitors will offer equipment and technologies for aquaculture, processing, packaging and storage, solutions for the cold chain and refrigerated transportation, vessel equipment and fishing gear.
Representatives of Chinese manufacturers and research institutes will also take part in the International Trout Forum, the roundtables “BRICS Fishery Trade Routes: Russia’s Export Potential” and “Cold Chain Continuity: International Logistics of Fishery Products”, as well as other events in the business program.
