Concern Uralvagonzavod (Omsktransmash JSC) will present at Seafood Expo Russia 2021 an innovative isothermal container with machine cooling and heating, model REFC 40.
The reefer container is designed for the transportation of perishable goods in non-refrigerated, refrigerated, frozen and quick-frozen states. Its transportation is suitable for container ships, railway platform wagons, trucks and any general purpose vehicles.
The life cycle of the container is 15 years, it can be used at an external temperature from -40 to +50 ° С. The outer casing of the container is made of corrosion-resistant materials for increased durability in severe operating conditions.
Under bearing capacity 2 tones more the container keeps the cargo better and energy consumption is 10-20% less compared to existing analogues.
The container has passed safety tests under technical supervision and in accordance with the rules of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping. The type of container meets the requirements of the 1972 Customs Convention for admission to the carriage of goods. In 2021, it is planned to launch serial production.
