The schedule of business program of IV Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2021 has been changed. Events previously planned for the first day will take place on the second day, September 9. The schedule planned for the third day will be moved to September 8.
The official opening ceremony of Global Fishery Forum and the plenary session dedicated to the impact of the pandemic on the fishery industry will be held on September 9. The plenary session will be attended by the Minister of Agriculture of Russia Dmitry Patrushev and the Head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries Ilya Shestakov, governors of the Arkhangelsk, Kaliningrad, Murmansk, Kamchatka and Primorsky regions, ministers of fisheries of Iceland and the Faroe Islands, experts and representatives of industry associations, international fisheries organizations.
On the first day, Deputy Head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries Vasily Sokolov will take part in a roundtable on industrial science and education. After it there will be an award ceremony for the winners in the WorldSkills Russia competition in fishery competencies.
Within the framework of the first day of the Exhibition, a number of events dedicated to logistics and storage of fish and seafood will take place. They will cover use of refrigeration technologies and export issues under pandemic. The conference of the Russian Maritime Register of Shipping and a section of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the UN (FAO) are also scheduled for September 8.
Also, on the second day, 2 roundtables on the topic of popularizing the consumption of fish products in Russia and high-quality storage and logistics with the participation of deputy heads of the Federal Agency for Fisheries will be held: Khasan Lichov will take part in roundtable “We have Fish. Who wants it?”; Pyotr Savchuk – in roundtable “How to Get Quality Fish to the End Consumer”.
The business program of the second day of Seafood Expo Russia 2021 will include 2 FAO sections and the roundtable organized by the Consulate General of Norway, which will present modern Norwegian technologies for catching, aquaculture and processing.
The final day will be devoted to aquaculture. The head of the Federal Agency for Fisheries Ilya Shestakov will take part in the conference "Aquaculture - the Driver of World Fish Production". Following roundtable will cover questions of effective aquaculture enterprise.
In addition, there will be 2 roundtables organized by Russian Agriculture Bank and the Government of Iceland. The events will be dedicated to the consumption of fish products and Russian-Icelandic industry cooperation.

The events of the business program will be held in the Congress Center of the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Center, the exposition of Seafood Expo Russia 2021 will be located in pavilion F.

IV Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia 2021 is the largest event in the Russian fishing industry. The event will take place on 8-10 September 2021 at the Expoforum Exhibition and Convention Centre in Saint Petersburg.
