Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia
Seafood Expo Russia To Teach How To Properly Cook Fish and Seafood
30/08/2022

Fish and seafood is not the easiest thing to cook. Nevertheless, despite all the complexities, it is in high demand and, with the right approach, can generate solid income for the HoReCa industry. To increase the variety of fish dishes on restaurant menus and ensure a stable and affordable supply of raw materials, the Russian Seafood Show zone of culinary master classes will take place as part of Global Fishery Forum & Seafood Expo Russia.

Over the course of three days, eleven master classes for chefs and restaurateurs will be held, during which Russia’s best brand chefs will share their original recipes for fish and seafood dishes with their colleagues. Participants in the event will have the opportunity to study various cooking practices and personally speak to suppliers of raw materials.

The master classes aim to answer the most significant questions for the HoReCa industry related to the fish menu:

- What types of fish and seafood are now available and popular?

- How are fish and seafood caught, grown, and processed?

- How should people choose the right raw material and what should they pay attention to?

- What are the best cooking techniques and serving options?

The event will be hosted by Vasily Yemelyanenko, while the master classes will be taught by Yevgeny Barannikov, Sergey Ligay, Pavel Vasilyev, Sergey Sinitsyn, Artyom Martirosov, Valery Poryadin, Yevgeny Meshcheryakov, Denis Krupenya, Igor Grishechkin, and Roman Khotkevich.

Since the zone itself will be located inside Russia’s main fish exhibition, in addition to the culinary show, participants will be able to walk around the booths and personally view the wide variety of offers on the market.

The full program of the Russian Seafood Show will be published on the event’s official website.

The workshops are free with prior registration.
